New York City

Hello everyone! Apologies, I just got back from a very busy but very fun four days in NYC with my younger sister and my parents. It was supposed to be a vacation but we were so busy I can’t really call it that! Still, I had such a great time and the highlight was definitely seeing Laura Osnes in Cinderella. She was spectacular.

We saw three shows on Broadway: Cinderella, Nice Work if You Can Get It and Jersey Boys
Taylor and I at the Museum of Natural History. That is one big clam!

Geek Alert: Taylor and I are huge fans of the movie Balto so we had to go find the statue in Central Park.
This is my illegally taken picture of the Cinderella set up.
These were the sparkliest things I have EVER seen on stage. Also, I really want to know how they guaranteed her losing her slipper in the same spot every time.

At the Empire State Building
At the Museum of Modern Art. That’s Monet’s Water Lilies behind us.
Mom, Taylor and I in Time Square coming back from “Nice Work If You Can Get It”
I had a late night craving for Chinese food. Isn’t it great that there are places in NYC that will deliver at midnight?
When we were at the MET I overheard a lot of people commenting on the poor horses and how much the armor weighed. Personally I was more horrified by some of the bits. Still, the workmanship on some of those pieces IS beautiful!
Couldn’t go to NYC without getting cupcakes! Upper left to lower right: Milkshake, Raspberry Swirl, Red Velvet, Cannoli.

As much fun as I did have, I’m glad to be back home with the puppies and the boy.
