I can’t tell you how much I needed that long weekend to reset my brain, it was on overload! But three days of nothing but fun was exactly what the doctor ordered.
Sunday was all about the pups and we had a blast going to our favorite agility trial. Guinness had some of his best runs and Harley… well she was Harley. Lol.
Sunday I free jumped Gus. Getting the fence quite high seems to be the only way to get him to set back on his hindquarters instead of pulling himself over with the shoulder. I love this horse but man I wish he was just a little bit more of a natural. He’ll trot over the dang 4 ft + fence but he won’t do it pretty.
I’m not sure what the answer is in the long run but I guess that’s a problem for another day. Right now he’s happily taking me around BN and things could be worse.
Now, unfortunately, the rain has moved back in and things are going to get crazy again. We’re always having fun here at Gray Horse Problems!
